"CH-47F Chinook" is a project for radical modernization of the middle transport helicopter of the American air forces.
The new workings are an act of the company "Rockwell Collins" and represent a renovated fuselage and flight deck for the crew. There are novelties also in the fuselage - considerably less details, what makes its assembling easier and the helicopter gets cheaper as a whole. "BAE Systems" for their part have taken care for a considerable alleviation of the control of the machine putting in possession of the navigation cipher cards and an electric distance system. The system for warning about rocket attacks and apparatus for creating of active radio interferences make the new "Chinook" much safer. The helicopter can reach a speed of 280km/h with a load of 10 tons, its flying radius is about 650 km. The military department of the USA planned the delivery of 450 helicopters CH-47F.
